What's great about leasing is that each agent has the ability to sell equipment via the method of a small monthly payment as opposed to an upfront cash investment. The average lease is $39.95 per month on a 48-month lease. Lease revenues are calculated by a factor. Using our flat factor of .03099, examples of standard lease income are set forth below:
Example 1
$39.95 divided by .03099 would give you $1289.12 in "gross funding" Then you would need to deduct the cost of the equipment, shipping, etc unless you were promoting a machine on our ‘completely free’ offer. For example, if you leased the Hypercom T4100 the equipment cost is $0 (to you) that $39.95 lease, collecting $0 upfront from your merchant would fund you a net profit of $1289.12. If you were to sell (2) of those per week you would make $2578.24 or $134k per year in just equipment lease revenue. There are thousands of agents averaging more than 2 per week!
Example 2
The Hypercom T7 Plus is a low cost terminal with a built-in printer. If an agent is in a competitive situation and needs to offer a low cost solution - here it is. $25.00 per month divided by the lease factor of .02799 = $893.17 in "gross funding." With the equipment cost being $0 including AMS covering the shipping, the net profit is $893.17. In the industry, this is called a "skinny deal” however two of these per week would earn you $1786.35 or $92 k per year!
Example 3
The T4100/RDM Imager Package (supplemented by AMS) is
a terminal and printer combo with a built in pin pad that allows
merchants to accept all major credit cards, debit cards, smart
cards and checks. Checks are electronically converted to cash with
a guarantee. $59.95 per month divided by the lease factor of .03099
= $1,934.49 in "gross funding." Deduct $350 for equipment
(RDM) and that results in a net profit of $1584.49 or $3,168 per
week if two units were sold and $164 k per year.
